Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is usually at 15.00, but your room may be available earlier.
Should you arrive at Porvoo earlier than 15.00, and your room is not yet ready, we’ll take care of your luggage until check-in.
You are kindly asked to check-out at 12.00. If you wish to enjoy your room just a little bit longer, or want to sleep in, please enquire about late check-out possibilities.

Reception
Opening hours
A guard ensures the security of the premises when the reception is closed, and security services may be contacted at +358 10 620 2000 in case of emergencies, such as, for example, the loss of a room key.
Lobby Bar
Our stylish and cosy lobby bar is open for refreshing drinks during reception hours. Enjoy cold or hot drinks at your cosy lobby bar!
Sauna
Our recently renovated sauna premises are open from Monday to Saturday from 19.00 to 20.00 for ladies, and from 20.00 to 22.00 for gentlemen. Sauna visits at the above mentioned times are included in the price of the room. Drinks may be ordered from our lobby bar.
Our sauna premises are available for private and business events.
Breakfast
A delicious and varied breakfast is served from 06.00 to 09.00 on weekdays, and from 08.00 to 10.30 on weekends and public holidays. Breakfast is always included in the price of the room. Our delicious breakfast buffet is available to people other than hotel guests for an extra charge.
Internet
Free wireless internet is available in all rooms and public premises at our hotel. There is no extra charge for the use of the Internet.
Pets
All creatures, both great and small, are welcome in our hotel! Hotel Sparre offers special rooms for guests with pets, and we kindly ask you to let us know in advance, if you are bringing a pet with you. We will provide a bowl and rug for your pet. An extra EUR 20 charge applies for pets.
Disabled guests
Hotel Sparre has one suitable room for disabled guests with easy access. We are happy to answer your inquiries and tell you more about our facilities for disabled guests.
Room Service

Room service is available as a pre-order. For example, if you wish to enjoy your breakfast in bed, please let us know well in advance.
Extra beds
Extra beds for under 12-year-olds are available for an extra charge of EUR 20, and cribs for toddlers and infants for EUR 15.
Please, let us know of any extra bed requirements you may have when booking your room, so that your room with all beds will be ready when you check-in.
Laundry Service
Laundry and ironing services are available to our guests. Please, note that the delivery time will be two to three days.
Meetings and Events
Our hotel is available for meetings and events. We offer catering for 40 to 60 guests, depending on the table layout. Catering services are provided either by our own kitchen, or by co-operation partners.
How to Find Us
Hotel Sparre is located about an hour’s drive from central Helsinki, and about a half an hour from the Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
Additionally, Hotel Sparre may be reached by coach from both the airport and central Helsinki, and it is only a two-minute walk from the Porvoo bus station to Hotel Sparre.
Parking in Porvoo
There are a few parking spaces available for an extra charge in our hotel’s underground car park. The number of parking spaces is limited, so it is recommended that you reserve parking in advance.
Street-side parking in central Porvoo is fee-based between the hours of 08.00 to 18.00 on weekdays, and between the hours of 08.00 and 15.00 on Saturdays; however, free of charge street-side parking is available 24/7 just a few blocks away from Hotel Sparre. There is a better availability of free parking spaces on the other side of the river.
